Family & Kids

Frognerparken is perfect for the whole family

Frognerparken is a fantastic place for families with children. With large green areas, playgrounds, sculptures that engage children, and safe paths, the park is one of Oslo's best family destinations.

Playgrounds

Frognerparken has several playgrounds spread around the park. The largest playground is in the northern part of the park and has climbing frames, swings, and a sandpit. All playgrounds are safe and well maintained.

Child-friendly Routes

The classic route through the Vigeland Installation – from the bridge, past the fountain, and up to the Monolith – is perfect for children. The entire route is flat and paved, ideal for prams and wheelchairs. The route is approximately 800 metres long.

Children's Favourites

Sinnataggen is of course number one for children! The furious little boy is always popular. The fountain with all the bronze statues also fascinates children. Many children enjoy counting the sculptures on the bridge and finding the funniest figures.
